JOEY is designed and operated by MADITECH, a Pacific Northwest technology company headquartered in Seattle, Washington, that has been building practical AI systems for real, working businesses since 2019. We are not a company that showed up yesterday. JOEY is the product of years spent on real dealership floors and in the software that runs behind them, with one focus the whole time: tools that do real work, for real operators, every single day.
That is why JOEY carries the MADITECH name. When you run JOEY, you are running a system with a company standing behind it, one that keeps shipping, keeps improving, and keeps answering to the people who use it.
Where this came from
The company did not start in Seattle. It started in Victoria, Australia, moved through the Inland Empire in Southern California, and is now headquartered in Seattle, Washington. Three very different markets, and the same problem in all of them: the people doing the actual selling were the ones with the least useful software.
That is what JOEY exists for. Not a dashboard for head office, and not a report somebody reads on a Monday. A system that sits with the salesperson and does the work that otherwise does not get done, because the day ran out before it could. Every year spent on a dealership floor made that clearer, and every year of building software behind those floors made it more possible.
MADITECH and JOEY, along with their subsidiary brands, were created and are owned by Lucky Ranasinghe.
MADITECH is a subsidiary of MARS Corp International. Before the 2018 rebrand that became MADITECH, the company operated as LAZRAN.
